This award-winning independent book publisher specializes in literary fiction. I worked both as freelance Copyeditor and Editorial Intern for Dzanc, where I reviewed manuscripts and made recommendations for acquisition. Among my projects here, I served as copyeditor for In the Event of Contact, an acclaimed short story collection by Ethel Rohan.

Cross City Church

I wrote and directed plays for Treasure Island—a children’s drama ministry at this prominent Dallas-area church. With immersive sets and talented performers, Treasure Island brought to life narrative arcs spanning island adventures, alternate realities, and supernatural fantasy.

I consulted on narrative development for an action RPG fantasy video game based on Norse mythology. This included preliminary research, contributions to overall narrative direction, and editing dialogue scripts.

As Digital Content Manager, I developed SEO digital marketing content for top medical care providers in the vision, family practice, dental, and aesthetics industries. This involved writing website content from the ground up, as well as editing client-authored content. Daily projects included medical procedure pages, content marketing blogs, copy for homepages, and client bios.*

Zaniac, LLC

Zaniac is a STEM education company that teaches computer programming, game design, modding, robotics, 3-D Printing, and more. As campus director, I organized and led marketing initiatives, coordinated network growth events with community organizations, and wrote high-conversion marketing copy for print and digital media. Additionally, I served as project manager for curriculum development tasks, overseeing production cycles, writing curriculum, and providing editorial support.

Fellowship & Fairy Dust

As consulting Marketing Coordinator for this digital literary magazine, I consulted on both visual brand and expanding the publication’s reach. Among the projects my team tackled were enhancing UI/UX aspects of web layout, improving navigation on our web platform, and collaborating with freelancers on logo design. I also sourced grant opportunities, expanded the publication’s reach among literary and speculative fiction listings, and edited submissions for short fiction and poetry.

This publication reviews video games, films, books, and other media content with thoughtful and engaging reflections on popular culture, in addition to engaging with media through YouTube videos and podcasts. Texas Historical Commission

This project involved creating proposals to preserve the historical status of two East Texas cemeteries. I contributed research, co-authored the proposals to the Texas Historical Commission, and served as final editor for proposal manuscripts.
